The sights and sounds of Musikfest will fill the air in downtown Bethlehem on Dec. 31 as ArtsQuest presents its first “Countdown in Downtown” New Year’s Eve celebration.

Countdown in Downtown, which will take place inside ArtsQuest’s Christkindlmarkt tents at Main and Spring Streets, will be a winter music and arts celebration offering people a taste of Musikfest 2011. The event for ages 21 and older will take place from 8 p.m.-12:30 a.m. and be headlined by The Red Elvises, one of the most popular acts at Musikfest each summer.
